Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival – Jammu/Katra (50 km 2 hrs)

Meet upon arrival and drive to Katra. The distance of 50 km will be covered in about 2 hrs. Spend the evening at leisure. Overnight stay in a Hotel at Katra.

Day 2: Katra – (Mata Vaishnodevi Darshan)

After breakfast trek up for spiritual Darshan of Mata Vaishno Devi, after complete performance of the Darshan return to Hotel for overnight.

Day 3: Katra /Pahalgam (255 kms 8 hrs)

After breakfast, drive to Pahalgam (valley of shepherds). The distance of about 255 km will be covered in about eight hrs. Route through the Jawaharlal Tunnel, Banihal, Rambhan, and Kud, visiting Saffron fields, Awantipora ruins (1100 yrs old temple of Lord Vishnu built by King Awantiverma), see the beautiful countryside on the way and a lot of rice fields. Drive through pine forests. Arrive in Pahalgam and transfer to the hotel. Later, have bridlewalks and feed your cameras with the picture of magnificent view of the mountains. Overnight in Hotel at Pahalgam.

  • Betaab Valley:-

              Betaab Valley is a very famous tourist spot situated at a distance of 15 kilometres from Pahalgam. The valley got its name from the Sunny Deol-Amrita Singh hit debut film Betaab. The Valley is northeast of Pahalgam and falls between Pahalgam and Chandanwari and is en route to Amarnath Temple Yatra. The valley is surrounded by lush green meadows and snow-clad mountains and is covered with dense vegetation.

  • Aru Valley:-

               Aru is located around 12 from Pahalgam, 11 km upstream from the Lidder River. Noted for its scenic meadows, lakes and mountains, it is a base camp for trekking to the Kolhoi Glacier and Tarsar Lake. The village lies on the left bank of the Aru River, which is a tributary of the Lidder River.

  •   Chandanwari:-

               Chandanwari is situated 16 km from Pahalgam; Chandanwari is the starting point of the Amarnath Yatra, which takes place every year in the month of Sawan (Rain). It is famous for snow sledging on a snow bridge.

                                                                                                                                         

Day 4: Pahalgam/Srinagar (95 km 3 hrs)

After breakfast, explore Pahalgam, visiting Chandanwari (snow bridges) or Aru on ponies (At your own expense). Also, Explore the beauty of Baisaran, proudly called as Mini Switzerland by Pony (At your own expense). Later, the driver went back to Srinagar. Overnight stay in Srinagar Hotel.

Day 5:Srinagar -Sonmarg–Day Trip.

Enjoy your breakfast and freshen up for a day at Sonmarg. Don’t miss visiting the Thajwas Glacier, which you will need ponies to reach. Check out Fish Point for a boat ride and Zorbing Ball Fun. If you are adventurous and love water and heights, white water rafting and trekking in Sonmarg.

                                                          

Day 6: Srinagar to Locals.

            After breakfast, a Morning visit to the Shankaracharya temple (Shiva temple), which comes with one of the magnificent views of the Srinagar City and the lakes. Also, sightseeing of Mughal Gardens visiting NishatBagh (Abode of Pleasure) built by Asif Khan, brother-in-law of Emperor Jehangir in 1632AD. And Shalimar Bagh (Abode of Love) was built by Jehangir for his wife, Empress Noor Jehan. All the gardens are situated on the bank of Dal Lake, with the Zabarwan Mountain in the background. The distance from Srinagar to the said gardens is about 12 and 15 km, respectively. En route, visit a carpet–weaving factory. Also, witnessed walnut woodcarving and paper machine-making demonstrations.   Nishat Garden:-

Located on the bank of the Dal Lake, with the Zabarwan Mountains as its backdrop, Nishat Bagh is a garden of bliss that commands a magnificent view of the lake beneath the snowcapped Pir Panjal mountain range that stands far away to the west of the valley. The Bagh was designed and built in 1633 by Asif Khan, elder brother of Nur Jehan.

  Shalimar Garden:-

The Shalimar Bagh is the celebrated royal garden of Kashmir. Emperor Jahangir was so fascinated with the garden that he called it “one of the sights of Kashmir.” 
Shalimar Bagh is located on the northeast side of Lake Dal, approximately fifteen kilometres from the centre of Srinagar. Jahangir laid it out as Farah Baksh (“the delightful”) in 1619 while he was founding the city of Srinagar.

  Cheshma Shahi

Cheshma Shahi ( the royal spring), also called Cheshma Shahi, is one of the Mughal gardens built around a spring by Ali Mardan, a governor of Mughal emperor Shah Jahan,  in 1632. The garden is in the Zaberwan Range, near Rajbhawan (Governor‘s house), overlooking Dal Lake in Srinagar, Kashmir.

Day 7:- Srinagar To Dhoodpathri

The name “doodpathri” means Valley of Milk. It is said that the famous saint of Kashmir, Sheikh ul Aalam Sheikh Noor din Noorani, has prayed here and once when he was in search of water in the meadows to offer prayers, The lush green grasses over the vast meadows and silver shining streams running over the large stones further increase its beauty. Doodhpathri is a sloping grassy landscape with a diversity of multicoloured flowers up to Chang. The famous Tosamaidanlies in the west of Doodpathri. Doodhpathri lies in a bowl-shaped valley in the Pir Panjal Range of the Himalayas at an altitude of 2,730 m (8,957 ft) above sea level. It is an alpine valley covered with snow-clad mountains and the meadows of Pine Fir and Deodar. The natural meadows, which are covered with snow in winter, allow the growth of wildflowers such as daisies, forget-me-nots and butter cups during spring and summer over Night Stay In Srinagar Hotel.

Day 8:- Srinagar to Gulmarg –Day Trip.

In the morning, after breakfast, drive to Gulmarg (55kms/ 2.5hrs). You will visit the Golf Club, Strawberry Valley and Nageen Valley. Don’t miss the chance to explore the Maharaja Palace. Then enjoy an exhilarating Gondola Cable Car ride. Finally, we will head back to Srinagar for dinner and an overnight stay at Deluxe House Boat. 

                                                                                                   

Day 9: – Jammu  Drop.
                     After breakfast, Transfer in time to the to connect to the onward destination Transport.
